Mahatma Gandhi, the name given a man who grew up to be a famous leader of India. He led the fight for Indian independence peacefully, though he was not there when it was accomplished. His life was cut by a man named Nathuram Vinayak Godse and a number of bullets. He was a great leader in much of India’s views, but that is not to say there are not those who thought he got what he deserved. Godse’s actions caused a shock, but to others, it was the plan and wish to which created speculations to their reasons.
