The works of both Francis Bacon and Walter Fredrick Osbourne inspire imagination and intrigue. Born nearly 50 years apart, these two artists have very different styles, which attributes directly into their artwork. Osbourne, worked in many different classical art styles thought his short life. His last piece of work that we examined at the gallery, Tea in The Garden, was painted in a unique combination of the naturalist and impressionist styles. Bacon, not only had a very unique style of painting, he also created this style. Bacon’s style was very different from previous methods, as he often painted obscure images of people or shapes. His style truly creates more questions than answers for the viewer. Both artists have amazing pieces of artwork
