In truth, Waldo is everywhere. Waldo does not just exist in a children’s book. He can be seen in real life as well, and there have been many sightings. In fact just a couple months ago I saw a video taken of Waldo in a McDonalds, which is rumored to be his favorite place to eat. So next time you go to a McDonalds, be wary for he could be lurking around any counter or any booth. Fear not, if you seek a chance to take a picture with this legendary man there are many ways to trick him out of hiding. In an attempt to draw Waldo out, many clothing companies have made Waldo inspired red and white horizontal striped shirts. It is believed that such shirts have a special connection to Waldo, and you are more likely to find him if you are wearing a shirt similar to his signature look. It helps even more if you are completely dressed as Waldo, so if he sees you he will think you are his shadow and come to say hi. This signature look was what distinguished the Waldeens from their neighbors to the north and south. The people of the northern colonies were known as the Wilbeens, and they were known for their hideous fashion sense. I mean come on who wears yellow and white striped shirts! Sometimes, in sports or in life in general, there are favorites and underdogs. There is a general consensus that the favorite team or player will win but sometimes it`s the underdog that wins and receives all the honor related with that win. This is very similar to what I read about Seabiscuit and what I watched in the video of Jason McElwain. Some people have the ability to transcend their underdog status (ie. Red from Seabiscuit and Jason) and create something very special.…

This statement is true because when people take the time to actually listen to others, they find a way to do something that will contribute to mankind. Quiet people have really loud minds and they wait to express themselves when the time is right. In the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, the author shows examples of how the quietest people are often the most powerful. When an onychectomy, otherwise known as a declaw, is performed it is equal to cutting off your finger at the first knuckle. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas Persuasive Paper By writing The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, through the eyes of a naive nine year old boy, the author subtly displays the importance of never letting a Holocaust happen again. Although Bruno never seems to comprehend what all that is going on, the reader is led through various events. John Boyne’s story is a good teaching tool about the Holocaust, detailing how horribly Jewish people were treated and put to death in the Concentration Camps. However, what John Boyne fails to do is elaborate on some little details. For instance, it is unlikely that Shmuel could have gone to the end of the fence everyday without being noticed.…
