His theory focuses not only on understanding how children acquire knowledge, but also on understanding the nature of intelligence. This model is established by Kieran Egan on the basis of Vygotsky’s work. This model refines the teaching of literacy. This model is mainly designed for the mother tongue literacy development but is also useful for the foreign language classroom. Some factors related to this model are mentioned below:
Imaginative thinking: Introducing learners to new ways of learning such as puppet shows, role plays and make-believe, makes them imagine that they are in an imaginary world created by their own imagination.
Story thinking: Stories play a crucial role in developing thinking skills in children. Usually learners during very young age try to make their own imaginative stories. Stories are powerful tools which help students explore their imagination and helps them relate to real life situations.

Teachers use to group up the children and make their bonding to open up and share their ideas with other peers of class. This strategy needs to be used by teachers if her class consists of shy kind learners this will become very useful mean of communication. For example when class is asked to make groups this may make comfort learning environment. Think-Pair-Share is one of the use full and similar thinking strategies to be used in class for developing critical thinking. This strategy could help in developing learner’sself-confidence which make them feel prominent from very beginning years at primary level.
3. Ambiguity
Strohm & Baukus advocate producing much ambiguity in the classroom. Don't give students clear cut material. Give them conflicting information that they must think their way through. If teacher is taking a subject class of science it should not done limitedly because subjects have interconnection relation. If the learners have similar chapter as in English than as a facilitator you must provide the prior knowledge by activating their schema. They must make connection through using their cognitive ability in classrooms.
