Committed, Generous, Supportive these are words describing volunteering. Volunteering to me is a person who loves to help other people, they aren't selfish but determined to make a change in the community. In fact if you want to hear about a place you can keep reading. The founder of the establishment is Anna Marie Hackett, she came up with the idea. The purpose of this establishment is because they saw a need to help the elderly. The audience they hold is the elderly. If you would like to donate someone could help by giving cash gifts of stock investments. There support system is the “American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, U.S. Department of Housing and urban development and leadingage wisconsin” are the Catholic house support system …show more content…
They help them with daily function. Like helping with crafts, computer assistant, and working in the convenience store they have on site.
Community service impacted my life once I saw how others are. That opened my eyes to see how privileged I am. This also made me want to volunteer more often and not just periodically.The Catholic Home helped out many people , they had a huge impact on the community. They started off in a single family home and ended upp know in a complex that can hold 140 people. The ways they helped was by giving them things they needed on a daily basis. “The choices we make about the lives we live determine the kinds of legacies we leave.” Basically this means if you don’t do something good who is going to remember you as a good, helping, and caring
