Everything around is constantly changing, we are constantly learning and adapting. For many people, the thought of getting inside a car without a driver is unthinkable. What makes humanity amazing from any other living organism is our ability to develop and adapt. When the first car was made late in the 1800s nobody would have ever dreamed the technology advancements cars have made throughout centuries. The development of autonomous cars is the newest development in cars in order to make lives easier for people and increase the safety of drivers behind the wheels of a car. The two brands I will focus on for this assignment is Tesla and Volvo. Tesla is the leading vehicle when it comes to electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles. Volvo has teamed up with Uber and agreed to a $300 million alliance to develop autonomous vehicles (Reters, 2016). When it comes to autonomous vehicles the position is to provide a safer alternative. Autonomous vehicles remove the potential errors from human drivers. With the increased technology in the vehicle and sensor, the car is always aware of any incoming dangers.
