A group of 69 athletes, 35 that were removed from play and 34 that remained in play, were tested 1-7 days post-injury and then 8-30 days post-injury. They were tested on verbal and visual memory, processing speed, reaction time, and total symptom score. The results of the study involved 62 athletes because 7 didn’t follow-up.
