Just because a person was tall does not necessarily mean your face length will be longer, nor the other way around. Face length cannot be determined by height, nor can your 1/8 of your body determine the length of your face. With this said the hypothesis was proven confirmed.
Discussion: The percentages of error were not very high, but still have a good error percentage to be proven very inaccurate. The percentage of error could have been most likely human error. Although the face length being one eight of your height seem realistic; a person’s face can be all different types of shapes and sizes regardless of height. In the end the results were not surprising. Conclusion: In conclusion, the hypothesis was proven to be correct. The measurement of a face does not determine height; while testing the subjects it was noted length of ones face is not equivalent to 1/8 of a body’s height. This experiment could have possibly worked better if measure from the highest point of the body to the chin, but it can still differ. The length of a face does not mean someone short or tall it can vary from person to person. Any measurement of the head cannot be able to determine the height of a

Allometric growth, known as Allometry, is a technique of explaining the different various ways of growth ratios in the parts of the human body. It doesn’t matter on the actual age of the person because the body still grows in different rates. The key purpose of this experiment was to determine, if a baby’s body part ratio measurement would be determined as an allmetric or isometric to an adult’s body part ratio measurement. Allmetric is when two parts of the body are growing at a different rate, however an isometric means when two parts of the body are growing at the same rate. In the lab conducted, the Independent Variable (manipulated variable) in the lab was the group because we all has a different measurement of arm and the Dependent Variable, (measure variable) in the lab was the height and hand length because the measurements of the body part can make a change.…
