Mackinac Bridge
The Mighty Mac is one of the longest suspension spans in the world, constructed in 1957 to connect the Lower Peninsula at Mackinaw City to the Upper Peninsula at St. Ignace. The Bridge provides some wonderful views, great sightseeing, and the nearby Mackinac Bridge Museum is a great place to learn about history and artifacts from the Bridge’s time of construction.
Isle Royale National Park
If you are interested in observing nature in its original glory, this is a must visit place for you. Surrounded by the Lake Superior near the Canadian Frontier, the park is actually an island shaped by ice age glaciers.
