The United States Virgin Islands is one of four US territories. They have their own Board of Nursing, which determines requirements for licensure and defines scope of practice for registered nurses within the United States Virgin Islands in their Nurse Practice Act. It has been amended to include advanced practice registered nurses (APRN).
