Veterinary Pathologist Essay

Ever since a child,I have always wanted to work in a field that includes animals and science.One key interest of mine is anatomy,which is the study of the internal workings inside something.The career cluster of agriculture includes the job I want to be as an adult:a veterinary pathologist.In order to become a veterinary pathologist,I must consult what a veterinary pathologist is,the later years of education,the opportunities,and the disadvantages of having this career.
First of all,a veterinary pathologist is a doctor of veterinary medicine who dissects them to find out why it died and stop diseases from spreading to other animals and people.While working as a veterinary pathologist,expect to wear closed-toe shoes and scrubs or a lab coat.Math,problem …show more content…
Fourth,just as with any job,there are disadvantages when working as a veterinary pathologist.This job requires a 40-80 hour workweek,which means not a lot of spending time with your family.Veterinary pathologists are prone to diseases,since they’re trying to find out why the animal died and most of the time the animals died of a disease.Blood and other bodily fluids are also part of a living thing,so most likely the whole lab will smell like them.Another disadvantage of being a veterinary doctor of medicine is not having an anchored work day,making some people very frustrated.
