Ah Venus! Being the little sister of earth must be quite hard! Being only 4/5 the mass of our earth and slightly smaller I think it is justified to be calling Venus the younger sister! Anyways, Venus has a rather interesting history as it was considered to be two stars rather than one planet. Their Greek names were Phosphorus and Hesperus or "morning star" and "evening star" in english. Wonderful names really. I would say their names are fitting, but sadly, Venus is the named for the ROMAN Goddess of love and beauty, not the Greek. Terribly annoying. A mathematician by the name of Pythagorus was the one to discover that the planet was in fact a planet and not just two stars. Funny if you think about it. You would have thought an Astronomer
