It is very common for kids to be on their electronics, such as their cell phones during class in school. When they are on their electronics, these kids will get them taken away, however they can be very useful and helpful when it comes to school work. Electronics can be used in place of textbooks for educational purposes, they can help kids stay organized, and working with electronics will prepare kids for working in different fields. Students should be allowed to use their electronics in school because it could improve their education. Our world is changing into a more technologically inclined atmosphere. Everywhere you look, people are on their phones. Because our world is evolving, the way that kids learn should also have an impact on that, and learn with the latest technology. If kids are taught by using technology, they will become more advanced and more prepared for later life in the work field that they choose to work in. Using technology is second nature to students. Because students have grown up with technology and use it in their daily lives, it would make sense for schools to start using them as learning aids, rather than books. "Small business owners are now more dependent than ever on technology for growth since their customers and employees are so geographically dispersed,"Although some parents say that they would rather have their children learn from books like they used, our world is changing and electronics in the classroom would be more beneficial. Although some say that it is muscle memory which is why the teachers give notes, 80 percent of the time, the notes will get lost. If students used technology instead of books, the notes would not be able to get lost because the notes would be on their electronics. In addition, it would help if high school was like college in these types of situations. When students are in college, the professors are not paying attention to if kids show up to class or not, or if they do or do not pay attention. Because of this, High School should be like college and use electronics because that is what they will be using in later life. Also, if kids are given the freedom to either pay attention, or use electronics irresponsibly, they will become more responsible. Although some kids may get distracted if they have technology in front of them instead of paying attention in class, it will make students learn,
