Vaccines are a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular disease. Vaccination may be required for those hired for a job and attending school. Vaccines rarely prevent or contribute to prevent diseases. The vaccines are mad from dead or inactive organisms or purified products borrowed from them. The healthy immune system is able to recognize invading bacteria and viruses and produce substances (antibodies) to destroy or disable them. The micro-organisms in the vaccine have been destroyed with chemicals, heat, radiation, or antibiotics. There all kinds of vaccines for example influenza vaccine, HPV vaccine, chicken pox vaccine, and etc. Most of the vaccines patients receive are given by shots, but one can be given in a nasal spray (a version of the influenza vaccine). But no matter how they are given, the general ideas of the vaccines are all the same. Some doctors advise patients being vaccinated to slacken off for a few days, drink a lot of warm beverages, and avoid dairy products. Some of the side effects include fever, pain around the injection site, and muscle aches (Meyers, Pineda 2008). That is one of the fascinating things about the vaccination. It prepares the immune system for the worst and even after they stay in affect (Smith, Bouck,2009). Immune system does not release the vaccine but holds it in. Depending on how strong the immune system & vaccination is it will show the outcome.
