Virtue ethics says that emphasizes the role of a character and virtue in moral philosophy rather be doing just one duty or acting in order by bringing about the consequences. The virtue ethicist is likely to give some kind of advice: "Act as a virtuous person would act in your situation."(Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, n.d) A virtuous person is any person that is kind across many situations over a lifetime because that is the character and not because the person wants to maximize utility or gain favors or simply do their duty. But unlikely deontological and consequentialist theories, virtue ethics do not aim primarily to identify universal principles that can be applied in any moral situation. Care ethics is the theory that ethics of cares implied that there was moral significance in the fundamental elements of relationship and dependence in human life. By contrasting with deontological/Kantian and consequentialist/utilitarian ethics, care ethics is found to have affinities with moral perspectives such as African ethics, Confucian ethics, and others.(Internet Encyclopedia of
