The patient is an 83-year-old gentleman who is brought to the emergency room via the West Paterson EMS, as well as the police. The EMS stated that the patient's wife called the police after the patient began to see people in the home. The patient states that he saw 3 intruders in his home. His medical history is significant for neuropathy and hypertension, as well as a past history of some anxiety and depression. He also has BPH and some history of urinary retention. The police also need to be called because when the EMS arrived the patient refused to come to the hospital. On presentation to the ED his blood pressure was uncontrolled. Initially the read is 205/93 with a pulse of 70, he is afebrile and oxygenating well on room air. However
