Between 55 and 60 million Americans suffer from some type of urinary incontinence, of which 20% are men [1.1]. The products still occupying majority of the market share in men’s incontinence are underwear, pads and guards [1.2]. Looking at figure above, it can be inferred that more than 75% of the men suffer from Urge incontinence. There is certainly a gap that still exists in the market place for men products and how it is marketed to them. However, over last few years there have been more male-specific advertising by leading manufacturers of incontinence like SCA and Kimberly-Clark [1.2].
