The structure my group and I made was an Urgent Care Clinic in a kibbutz located in the desert. This structure is well suited for desert environment because it has 4 giant vents on each corner. These vents transfer the hot air of the desert into cooler air so that the patients and workers inside do not feel very hot. One of the ways our structure reduces cost by using technology is that at night, if it's cold outside, we have tubes under the floor to heat up the room. These tubes last 200 years and use less energy than any other heating system. These tubes are cheaper than buying a heater and safer than making a fire place.
