Windows 98 was the first to have the back and forward navigation buttons on the address bar. Windows me was considered a low point for windows and was the last in the windows 9x line. Windows 2000 was the first windows with hibernation.windows xp was the most popular windows operating system and maintained support for 13 years after its release date.windows vista mostly added safety features that windows xp didn't have but some of them mostly failed.windows 7 is what many thought windows vista should have been and it ran smoother.
