Colon cancer is cancer of the large intestine and lower part of the digestive system. This cancer begins as small, noncancerous clumps called adenomatous polyps. Which later turn into cancer if not caught fast enough. Some of the symptoms to watch out for are bowel habits such as diarrhea and/or constipation, blood in stools, persistent abdominal discomfort, weakness and unexplained weight loss.
