What is LAN?
LAN stands for Local Area Network. LAN is a network that connects a group of computers within a building like a home, office or a school. For LANS to connect together and share information within computers, Ethernet is most commonly used. LAN does not need cables to connect to the different devices (e.g printers) however radio waves can be used to communicate.
Difference between client-server and peer to peer network:

The storage and bandwidth has to be provided by the host
