Type 2 diabetes is an issue for New Zealand because it is affecting our youth. Sugar has become like a drug. Its addictive and with it comes consequences if consumed too much. Type 2 diabetes is a serious issue, experts tells us type 2 diabetes has begun to increase in children. I agree that this is a problem because it is affecting the future of our world. It is also affecting future youth habits. As a result this could become a vicious cycle (EXPLAIN THE CYCLE). Type 2 diabetes is linked to the rise of obesity; also known as the obesity epidemic which is only fueling type 2 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes is in issue that is affecting 240,000 people in New Zealand, type 2 diabetes is one of the most common type of chronic condition in our community.
