This is a public service announcement from a non-profit organization. Do you or a loved one suffer from Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes? Do you fear for the possible side effects of diabetes? If you are age 45 or over, you are more at risk of getting diabetes. Side effects may include heart disease, eye complications, kidney Disease, nerve damage, foot problems, skin Complications and dental disease. Diabetes depending on the type is caused by either no insulin present in the body or decreasing insulin in the body. Although there is no cure for diabetes, exercise significantly decreases your chances for getting and controlling diabetes.
