There are three main types of the literary genre which are poetry, drama, and fiction. These genres concentrate on literary technique, tone, theme, setting, characterization, and plot. Poetry is meant to be read and concentrates on expressing feelings and emotions, it’s a way of communicating by having readers think outside the box and read between the lines.
