Introduction:
Main idea: The purpose or main idea of my speech is to peruse you for volunteering Tree Philly.
My story: I believe what goes around comes around. And if we affect environment than it will harm us only. I am an environment guy. Recently I researched EPA websites (Environmental Protection agencies) in which I found some environmental pollution facts and how hard it is to fight against pollution. That is the reason for me to take a knee interest in Tree Philly.
Why to care: Pollution results in disturbing our environment. We are only the person who are responsible then it’s our duty to clean it. At last if we don’t we are only being responsible for the natural calamities.

each year. (Philadelphia magazine)
Point D Droughts, floods, heat waves, tropical storms, earthquakes, tornadoes and other extreme weather phenomena are observed now. They are expected to get worse. There will be longer droughts, hotter summer, colder and longer winters, stronger hurricanes, severe flooding and an intensified global weather condition. (From “The world counts”)
Hence as I discussed about the pollution let us discuss what can protect pollution.
Satisfy the need:
Point A: Trees absorb pollutants and store carbon, reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
The trees of D.C. filter 540 tons of harmful, health-threatening pollutants from the air each year.

The shade trees of D.C. save us more than $2.6 million in air conditioning costs per year.
Point C: One large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people.
Point D: Trees help our soil remain healthy by reducing soil erosion and by creating a soil climate suitable for microorganism to grow. (Research of North Carolina state

Why?

Treephilly's goal is to increase tree canopy coverage to 30% in all Philly Neighborhoods
Guys we cannot directly start to work for the whole world and fight against the pollution.
But at least we can try to help our city which may be our first step for fighting against air pollution.
About 11,500 trees were distributed according to the report of Tree Philly from 2012 to 2015.
So if this many trees are been distributed it would have done many stuff for us like cleaning air making the surround cool etc. which we never knew a trees can do.
If we go through the static that A tree can absorb as much as 48 pounds of carbon dioxide per year and can sequester 1 ton of carbon dioxide by the time it reaches 40 years old. (Research of North Carolina state university)
Then multiplying 48 ponds with 11000 trees absorption rate we can get an amount of 552000
This is the report of carbon dioxide emitted in near Philadelphia. By CARMA

But we need more help to reduce this amount and make our life safe and surrounding better.
That’s the reason I strongly encourage you to volunteer the Tree

Therefore, efforts should be made to preserve the endangered trees so that the next generation can also benefit from these trees.
