Tree Of Gifts: The Legend Of The Dandelion

Legend has it that we (the people) formed from a small flower called the Dandelion. The gods above watched and observed the empty nothingness of the vacant world below. The queen of those gods knew something must be done about this plain world. Thus one day, after a talk with the Tree of Gifts, the queen of the gods, being that males weren't seen of importance at this time, called a meeting. At this meeting the gods and she grouped together to discuss what they must do. "We are capable of surviving." The queen says firmly, looking into the eyes of each godly member. "The stems of our ancestors have provided our court for many years, and it is time that we give back to them and to the world below; Earth. Earth will be where our children's children can live, have a life of their own, seemingly better than this reserved kingship. We diminish every day that passes, and they are our future." She finishes and raises her hand to the small children playing. The other gods disagreed with their queen, Earth was just a dried, empty land- a waste of time really. She pushed on though, after many hours of back-and-forth, she knew it was the right thing to do. Since she is queen, they should respect her decision.
