Treatment Visitor Report

This was not the first time that this had happened. The Treatment Coordinator had an idea that we should get testing done on her brain. There would be times that when you would talk to the child, she seemed as if she truly did not understand what was being said and she had a very short temper. We finally got her appointments set up. They found that she had twice the amount of testosterone in her body then she should have had. They also found that she didn’t have very much estrogen. Things started to look like they were going to change for this child, but she messed it up.
While at the hospital for the Treatment father’s medical problems, she decided to go crazy and was restrained in the waiting room of the Emergency Room. She told the officers that she wanted to kill herself. She later told us that she was only saying it to get attention. They admitted her to a mental health hospital where she spent a couple of weeks. After getting out to the hospital, she went back to her Treatment family but was given thirty days to get better. She was angrier than before. There would be times where she would be in our faces screaming and times that I thought she was going to actually hit one of us. She tried cutting herself out of anger and had to be taken back to a mental health hospital. Two weeks into her stay there, the court decided that Pressley Ridge was not the right place for her.
