The S-SDLC again starts with getting the requirements, but adds security requirements, the setting up phase gates (dividing into stages or phases) and a risk assessment. In order to incentivize this growth, we have proposed to deans that we will allow them to capture and use (to support these new students) as much as 70% of the net new tuition funding that these new students will contribute to UNLV. Thus far we have accepted and we are implementing four growth proposals, including a new Masters of Health Care Administration, a newly renovated undergraduate program in technology in business (along with a set of high demand computer applications courses), an expansion of the Physical Therapy program, and expansion of the Masters for teacher licensure program (with a specific focus on students/veterans that have a bachelors but were not licensed to teach).
