INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
Towing is a process of transporting or relocating the vehicle desired from one place to another. The process of towing may become essential whenever engine failure occurs of the vehicle or the trailers that are meant for transport are to be shifted from a place to another. So it is important to design a proper towing hook that is capable of withstanding various loading condition without any failure for long life. Also tow hooks are used to transport tractor trailers, aeroplane etc but each of them having their own individual design and load carrying capacities.
