This assignment introduces about the global range and scale of the contemporary hospitality and tourism industry. Tourism means people who traveling to stay in place outside for business, leisure, visiting relatives or other purpose. Tourism industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of economy as well as the major source of foreign exchange earnings and employment for many developing countries in our time today. Tourism industry is includes accommodations, food and beverage Services (F&B), recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services. Travel by water can avoid the air travel’s problem which is airport delays. The best choices for people who lack of comfort in the air is travel by water. Travelling by water is more comfortable travelling by air, it is because passenger can move anywhere in the ship. In the bigger ship, there are offering more space for fun activities such as bowling alleys, elaborate water parks with massive slides, ropes courses, bumper cars and surfing and skydiving simulators. Examples, Queen Mary 2 has include fifteen restaurants and bars, five swimming pools, a casino, a ballroom, a theatre, and a planetarium in the ship. Not only airbus can be travel worldwide, we also can travel worldwide by water. According to CLIA, there are over 55% of passengers who travel by the world’s cruise are from North America. There have two types of cruises which is river cruises and ocean cruises. The difference between river cruises and ocean cruises are river cruise ship is smaller. It only can carry fewer passengers in the ship. But the river cruise’s price is almost same as ocean trip. River cruises are themed around cultural or historical events. In fact, the vast majority of our water travel is done by ferry. Ferry is a transportation that can fetch the vehicle to cross the sea. It is because rail travel is more expensive and it need longer time to reach the destination, tourist do not know what to do in the train. Beside improved transportation, the train can be move faster. Examples, Shanghai Maglev is the fastest train in the world. Its maximum speed is 267.8mph. Besides that, tourist can enjoy watching the beautiful view from the train. Glacier Express that is “The World’s Slowest express train” in Switzerland, it will cross 291 bridge, pass through 91 tunnels and reach the 2045 meter high Oberalp pass slow enough to enjoy every single view of majestic mountain ranges, rugged rockscapes, remote valleys and deep ravines while crossing the Alpine chain Between Zermatt and St Moritz.
