Generally the most known flavors would be wintergreen, mint, and strait. But all the big dipping tobacco companies have their own flavors that are specifically designed for their products. For example, Copenhagen and Grizzly (which is owned by Copenhagen) like to stay towards the more traditional area of flavoring. The most common used by the public is wintergreen and mint, however they carry flavors such as Copenhagen black which is a bourbon blend, along with southern blend, whiskey blend, and smooth hickory. Not only is smokeless tobacco extremely addictive and harmful, it is also very expensive. A can of America made dipping tobacco costs over three dollars a can, which means a two-can-a-week habit costs over three hundred dollars per year. In extreme cases where an individual chews a can per day, the total comes to over one thousand and one hundred dollars in a years’ time. (nidcr.nih.gov; Somerman) With all of these potential risks and the insane amount of money it costs to be a smokeless tobacco consumer, the best solution is to just stay away from it all together. In conclusion, all of these studies pointed towards the harmful effects that chew and dip can have but had nothing to say about any positive effects. It is not safe, it is not cheap, and it is not smart. There is nothing good to be said about the tobacco industry, and there are no positive things about it that should lead us to do
