That was a night to remember--for both me and Scout. I knew Scout wanted to explode with questions and tears as we were walking to my house; however, she remained gentle. As a person who felt connected to both Jem and Finch more than their actual father, Atticus, I knew exactly what goes on inside of the minds of those kids. But I couldn’t quite perceive of went inside of Scout’s mind when she was at my front porch at first. I found it quite odd when she just stood there speechless. She had a look on her face; a look I have never seen before. It was as if she epiphanized something--something that she should have known a long time ago. I had no idea what she was doing until she looked at the tree. Who would have known that standing outside
