To Kill A Mockingbird Conflicts

The conflict that occurred in the Finch Landing between Scout and Francis was that Francis insulted Scout by calling her dad a nigger-lover. Scout felt humiliated and even though she had promised her dad to not be involved in a fight anymore, she couldn’t control herself and commenced a fight with Francis. Uncle Jack heard Francis’s part of the story and blamed it on Scout. Scout’s punishment was a spank from Uncle Jack. After Scout told Uncle Jack her part of the story, he was outraged by Francis and felt like going back to the Finch Landing and scolding her for what he did. I think that if anything or anyone should be blamed it should be Maycomb County, The Jim Crow Laws, and lastly the South in general. For example, Maycomb County plays
