I understand what Atticus was trying to say about walking around in their skin, because I had the same saying spoke to me. It was last year and I was going to Washington with my friends. We had to pick our room mates and I choose my best friends, but one of them choose someone else instead of me. I went to my mom and told her how devastated I was about this. My mom told me to think of what she had to go through, she had to choose between 4 of her best friends and could only pick 3. I did think about it and I let her do what she wanted to do even though it meant that I got stuck with people I disliked.
