“Tires and Co.” –a family own company firm specializes in recycling tires, was established in 2012 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Its main responsibilities are buying and recycling old tires from all over the country. At the beginning, it starts with only two employees and one truck and one machine. Now, the company is one of the leading organizations in the industry in the country, with almost 20 workers, 5 trucks, and 3 machines. Although, recycled tires can be used in many industries, “Tires and Co.” mining material for tire-derived fuel (TDF), and civil engineering and ground rubber. In other words, the company sells the raw materials and does not produce anything.
Although there are no statistics how many authorized services that people can leave their old tires there are in Bulgaria “Tires and Co.” has signed contracts with most of them that states that it will take the product from the station and will pay $ 5 per tire. Apart from the country, export specifications are the same – certificates, logistics, contacts, etc. However, there are differences and regulations that the exporting country should follow in order to import goods to another country.
