1. An elderly man keeps feeling light-headed when he exerts himself by walking up stairs and even when he bends over to pick something up. He is fine as long as he is sitting, but any change in activity, and he feels like he is going to pass out.
2. A young boy keeps complaining of pain in the abdominal area after eating a meal. The pain eventually passes, but it reoccurs every time he eats.
3. A teenage girl has been running on the school track team but has recently experienced a sharp pain in her lower leg during sprints.
