Timber is a natural resource in southeast asia. Timber comes from trees and is important for building stuff like houses. Timber is just the fancy name for wood.
Another natural resource in southeast asia is opium. Latex comes from opium. Latex made from Opium contains the harmful drug morphine. Opium makes lots of different thing using its latex.
Another natural resource in southeast asia is pearls. Pearls are made by live shelled mollusks. Pearls are made with calcium carbonate in minute crystalline form. The ideal pearl is perfectly round and smooth. But some pearls aren't these are called baroque pearls. They have been valued as objects of beauty for centuries. Pearls make things like necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry.
Another natural resource in southeast asia is silver. Silver is the metallic element with the atomic number 47.

Rice is the seed of the grass species Oryza sativa. Wild rice, from which the crop was developed, may have its native range in Australia. Rice is an important food source to the people of asia, china, and other countries.
Another natural resource in southeast asia is copper. Copper is a chemical element with symbol Cu and atomic number 29. It has very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Copper is used to conduct heat and electricity, and for currency.
Another natural resource in southeast asia is tin. Tin is a chemical element with the symbol Sn and atomic number 50. Tin shows a chemical similarity to both germanium and lead. Tin is used to make cans if something comes in a metal tin it is most likely to be made out of tin. I think this might not be very useful because i don't think we can heat it up enough to get it to melt.
Since we are on island we have a lot of availability to water which is important for all seven kingdoms of life to live. We will be surrounded by saltwater. But the salt can be taken out of the water by boiling
