The conflict perspective looks at society as an hierarchy and a CONSTANT struggle between social groups. According to Karl Marx, every group of people whether high, middle, or lower class go through the same stages of economic development. As the world moves from agricultural to industrial, people first incentive which was to meet survival needs alter to making money instead. We can look at how the type of degree affects the unfair system. Certain individuals who have a higher degree have more power because they have better opportunities, career wise. They then can make more money than those who have lower degrees than them.Competition for power and scarce resources create conflict and unfairness which breaks society into two. Privileged classes want to keep their benefits and gain more. While the underprivileged also wants to gain those
