There were many causes of the american revolution,but there was three that sparked the revolution. The boston tea party, the intolerable acts, and the battle of lexington and concord are the three main reason. The boston tea party made the king from England mad which led up to tensions between them. Then the intolerable acts is what caused fear after the boston massacre and that act was for americans to provide the british soldiers a room to stay even when they don't want them in the house. Then when tension was really high that’s when they settled it on a small battle which the colonist felt like it was an inevitable battle against the british army.
