Three Day Diet Analysis Paper

Ever since I was a child, I always had an aggressive appetite. I never cared about what I put into my body, because I was young and it was of no concern to me. Over the last five years, I have been more aware of my eating habits, but still not conscious enough to change them completely. Through this experiment, I found more specific information pertaining to my health. My basal metabolic rate is 1,330. Also, my body mass index is 21. The three day diet analysis was very interesting to me, and had provided some very useful and challenging information regarding my health. I know I do not have the healthiest of habits, and after the nutrition analysis, I plan to do my best at changing my diet. My current habits are not very bad, but not very good, …show more content…

My report showed I was under in that category as …show more content…
My overall intake of nutrients raised a red flag towards my health, when I saw that my sodium intake is over the recommended consumption amount. I see that I could put myself in danger of having a stroke in the future. I also know that I need to improve in my vitamin intake. The vitamins I least consume in my meals are vitamin K, vitamin E, and vitamin D. Since I was a child, I’ve suffered from low iron levels. I was advised by doctors to take three iron pills a day to neutralize my iron levels. I know that if I were to eat foods containing iron more frequently, I probably would not have to take iron pills as all. Even though iron pills help me in my health, I forget to take them most of the time. Some symptoms i get are fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and headache. This is something I really have to work on in order to take better care of my overall
