Three Bealls brothers created Stage Stores,Inc in 1988 and based it out of Houston,Texas. This company is unique for the fact that 850 stores were put in rural towns in over 40 states(Hoover,2016) ,however more than twenty-five percent of the stores are located in Texas. There are six different chains that make up Stage Stores including Stage,Goody's , Peebles, Palais Royal, and Bealls. The stores offers brands such as Rafaela, Nike, Van Heusen, and Chaps. Larger stores also carry cosmetics such as Fashion Fair, Clinique, and Estee Lauder. The Bealls brothers created the chain of stores for the working moms that just come to get out of the house along with the older people that are not fond of the larger cities and bigger crowds.
