Whenever people come across something or someone that they like even the most remote amount, they would use the word ‘love’ when talking about how they feel about it. This same idea goes for the word ‘hate’, as well. Any form of dislike for something or someone would result in that person using that word. Both words seem to have lost their true meaning over time.
