Unfortunately, these meridians
(pathways) can become blocked which can lead to the energy not being able to move through and will cause a variety of issues within the body depending upon the meridian affected.
Blockages can be created by various things including the food we eat due to there being so many added chemicals, pesticides, additives and preservatives among other things. Our bodies cannot break these nasties down as needed and so they create issues in the pathways. They are also affected by our thoughts: negative, angry or sad thoughts weigh us down and create a dense vibration that can block the pathways.
Reflexology helps to clear these blockages, by applying pressure to the correct zone area on the feet, hands or even the face you

A person’s mindset can be described as their attitude and the way that person views the world and life. In the short stories, “Seeing” by Annie Dillard and “This is Water” by David Foster Wallace, both authors explore how having different observations and ways of thinking can change someone’s mindset and attitude. In comparison, “Seeing by Annie Dillard”, shows how vision can either cloud or open the mindset of the bigger picture. However, “This is Water” by Foster Wallace, shows that focusing on oneself and neglecting others, can lead to a repetitive negative mindset of the world. Using vision and thought, you can drastically change the mindset and attitude that you see in the world.…

Philo begins his argument from the existence of evil by introducing a few examples on why God has either not willed humanity’s happiness or that He does not believe that happiness is an essential component to the human condition. In his first argument, he asserts first that God is a moral being who values traits such a justice, kindness, and mercy. He then states that God’s scope is infinite, and he can perform whatever deeds he so wishes. Finally, he says that humanity is unhappy. This leads to the conclusion that God must not wish for the contentment of mankind.…

In this paper I will argue Cartesian dualism offers a more rational explanation of reality than Darwinian monism. I believe people have both body and soul, and they interact with each other. Jonathan Haidt described the relationship between body and soul as “like a rider on the back of an elephant”(11) in his book “The Happiness Hypothesis”. Our body like an elephant, our soul like a rider on it’s back and try to control it. But the problem is that the soul is not always a good rider.…

Meridian imbalance comes about due to a dense or low level energetic vibration. This is influenced by a number of factors: How we think and how we feel - negative thoughts and feelings are denser and lower energetic vibrations - So if we are unhappy, angry, and thinking negative thoughts and so on - our biology (and meridians) is affected by our stories and feelings. The quality of our food - poor quality food being man made, artificial and treated with pesticides vibrates at a denser lower level - once we ingest these low quality foods we lower our vibration and our energy becomes denser and the movement becomes slow and impaired, this affects the balance of our meridian system. Our immediate environment (do we live in a stressful, noisy crowded…

As a result of this study, other researchers began formulating theories of their own. McIntosh and Fisher were two theorist who challenged Beck’s Negative Cognitive Triad. Their theory provided the presumption that there could be more or less than three specific negative thoughts. Their tests, as well as their statistics, determined that there was only one governing negative thought: The Self-Relevant Negative Attitude. They further explain their data when they state, "…it would appear that retaining all three areas of the triad as separate dimensions is not necessary for representing the latent structure of depressive cognition within Beck's framework" (McIntosh & Fischer, 2000, p.156).…
