The individual may not have anything to compare to and is not aware of the possible consequences and is unsure where to start when trying to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
Cues to action- Possible cues to act that a Health Educator would recommend is a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D and exercise to help prevent osteoporosis.
Modifying Variables- Possible modifying variables would be educating women on osteoporosis and the need to reduce bone fractures due to osteoporosis and improve bone health.
3. Precontemplation- During this stage I would increase the awareness of the need and importance to change and quit smoking.
Contemplation- During this stage I would motivate and encourage the group to want to change.
Preparation- During this stage I would come up with a plan and strategy that would best suit each member of the group that will help them quit smoking and improve their overall health and wellbeing. I would help them set goals and objectives that are SMART and will help them quit smoking.
