Theoretical Perspective in Sociology
Having many view points of the world we live in have been set across us to explain what the world takes part in a “sociological” manner. There are three key and main points and ways which includes Symbolic interactionism, conflict theory and structural functionalism. The Functionalist views society as a very complicated structure or system. The many different components of society which work along together towards the promotion of solidarity ad stability which was said by Isajiw2013, pg124, “the Causation and Functionalism in Sociology”. Some examples of Social Structure are those that involve religious organizations, communities, and friend and families. A distinct perspective is that of each social structure which indeed exists I society and has been tied along with social functions as it was observed by Denzin and Salvo 2005, on page 69in “Studies in symbolic interaction” and social structure was also involved with consequences on many people’s lives and an example of that was that education played many different parts in society which included social status and placement, the learning received, and the socialization. On another type of view point of the world has been offered by the founder and father of Sociology, Karl Max, which in his very theory which was called as the Conflict theory. Although in agreement with Bartos And Wehr 2002, on page 67 of “Using conflict theory” it was said that the biggest theory that viewed the views of society an environment that was shaped by the pure competition and pays a lot of attention on how resources were each individually place …show more content…
People tend to act depending on the type of interpretation they are given by their world which is in agreement with Denzin and Salvo 2005, on page 59 of “Studies in symbolic Interactions”. People place personal meanings on events, objects, and behavior along with the main point of the analysis of the society that is the very symbolic interaction theory. A reason why subjective meanings are made the primary is because people that are within a society behave based on what or how they first believe and think but this is also not based on how the termed tends to be true But, given the fact from above, society has been look at to be made by simply basing the human interpretation and there happens to be a tendency within the people by interpreting one another’s behaviors which then tends to lean towards the formation of a social type of
