It is significant to maintain transparency in any relationship because it allows individuals and companies to maintain positive relationships. An excellent product without consumers is worthless when compared with an average product with a larger consumer market. The difference between a flourishing and unsuccessful business is closely related to the sales of its product. (Smit, 37) This becomes "an international advance with which the rivals would never manage to catch up," (Smit, 37). Rudolf Dassler's harsh words helped Adidas significantly.
