The struggle was so bad that Brutus ended up taking his own life. This conflict is the same struggle one would have to deal with when a friend betrays us today. That friendship that was built, all the secrets that were told to each other, the late night cries and sibling love is out the window, vanished. This struggle of the betrayal can cause someone to take their own life because the trust is gone. Making betrayal of a friend worse than the hatred of an enemy, that the enemy has no bond, no connection or love with them. Their opinion and feelings don’t matter to them because it was never there to begin with. They could only hope that their enemy would find the love, friendship or bond that they have with their great friends. Over all if a friend betrays someone it would be devastating. The fear of the unknown, of how much their ex-friends is going to expose them to others to turn their friendship to hatred. This hatred would make them enemies, but the hatred would hurt worse than a regular enemy because of the bond they once had. So please don’t betray friends and love the enemies, because they could end up living like Brutus and fight a lifetime internal
