This theme gives the room warmth and gives out a cozy feeling. As all these colours are warm colours. Also, the smiles and laughter of the people in the room also adds warmth to the atmosphere. Whereas the room the orchestra was playing in has a cold and quiet atmosphere to it. The room has golden curtains, just like the ball room. But has blue wallpaper instead of the wood. There is also a purple and grey patterned carpet beneath the musicians. Also, the lights in the room was not lit, which brings a gloomy and dark feeling to it. The orchestra is being surrounded with cold colours, including the blue, purple and grey. which makes the atmosphere of the room cold compared to the ball room. The warm atmosphere compliments the joy that was present in the ball room. It magnifies Driss’s emotions of freedom and happiness. The energy from the room steals all the attention from the orchestra. The room the orchestra was playing in was dim and had a cold atmosphere to it. The director might have chosen this is to put the emphasis to the dancers. This is also done by making the people move around in the ball room and having the musicians from the orchestra sit
