I received a personal issues score of ninety percent, an economic issues score of ninety percent, and that I am a libertarian. The survey’s findings seem accurate and I agree with all of them. With in their summary of a libertarian they mentioned that they advocate for smaller government, individual responsibility, defend civil liberties, and support diverse communities. All of of which I feel strongly about. Another national issue I hold close to my heart is a woman’s undeniable right to choose whether or not she wants an abortion. I do not believe that anyone, of any authority has the right to make that decision for her, because it is her body, therefore her right and choice to do what she wants no matter the circumstances. A world issue I am passionate about is global warming. The fact that educated people with authority like our current president, Donald Trump, do not “believe in it” baffles me. It is not a hypothesis or a guess about the future, it is becoming the present and there is evidence all around us. People can not continue to turn a blind eye to the situation at hand, nations must work together to help protect our environment from the doom from which we have inflicted upon it. I answered a few questions used to determine my ideology and the result was exactly as I expected, a liberal democrat. Which follows along with my previous results from the prior surveys. There was a line graph ranging from far liberal democrats to far conservative republican. My score was all the way to the far left aas far away from republican as possible. Although I am not eighteen yet I do know which party I will claim. I will claim independent because even though my almost all my views tend to stray to the left I would never choose a candidate just because they were in my party. Voting should always be based on the candidate and their beliefs, nothing else should sway your opinion. As soon as I become eighteen it is my civic duty to research the candidates for the upcoming election and vote not matter what because I know that my one vote can make a difference.
