These women currently have a breech presenting fetus. The patients excluded from this study are women who are pregnant but not into their seventh months of gestation. Patients who are not pregnant were excluded from the study. Pregnant females who met criteria that were unlikely to have a successful version of breech fetus to vertex were also excluded. Some reasons a fetus may not turn to cephalic presentation include: oligohydramnios, placenta previa, short umbilical cord, multiple gestation, and uterine abnormalities. 92 cases of breech presentation were medically diagnosed, 12 were not medically diagnosed, 8 cases it was unknown if it was medically diagnosed. In terms of confirming the diagnosis, 53 cases utilized fetal ultrasound, 31 patients did not use ultrasound, and it was unknown if ultrasound was used in 28 cases.
